Microneedling

How it Works

As we age, our skin starts producing lesser amounts of collagen. This results in the skin having a dull, wrinkled appearance.

Using tiny needles, microneedling triggers your body's natural healing response which increases collagen and elastin production. The skin is stimulated to produce new skin cells replacing old ones. As the old layer is replaced there is a reduction in the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, scars, and blemishes resulting in firmer, smoother skin.

Microneedling can produce instant results after only one treatment but the real magic happens with consistent, repeated treatment. Because everyone's skin is unique, one of our experienced estheticians will help determine the number of treatments needed to achieve the best possible result.

Side Effects

There are a few temporary side effects that can accompany microneedling; including: short-term swelling and redness. we encourage microneedling patients to avoid wearing makeup and excessive sweating for at least 24 hours. Skin will be more sun sensitive after treatment so sunscreen is advised.

Microneedling may worsen active breakouts, so people with active inflammatory acne should not be treated with microneedling.
